In 1994, JEWELL
INDUSTRIES, INC., hired a floor division manager expand in sales and
services in the carpet and tile industry. While our first 8(a) contract in
1990 was with the Environmental Protection Agency (removing and installing
carpet and tile), the dream to expand fully in the industry became a
reality. Today, the division has installed more than 9,000,000 square feet
of carpet, VCT and sheet vinyl, and cove base in Government, commercial and
private industries.
The floor services division of
JEWELL INDUSTRIES is manned by a Floor Division Manager (who oversees the
entire division), two full-time salesmen, one Project Manager, and 47
installers. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship and completing your
project on time. Our main marketing focus is on the medium to large
commercial jobs; but no matter how large or how small a job, our customers
will ger the same quality service.
With over 100 years
of combined field experience, we are confident you will get the most
qualified sales and service combinations in the industry. Whether you
require days, nights, or weekend installations, we can handle your needs at
the industry's most competitive rates.
In the competitive
bid process, the Floor Services Division has successfully won many
Government and commercial contracts. It will travel to any area to perform
floor services. A few of the most notable contracts performed by JEWELL are
the following:
U.S. ARMY GARRISON, FT. MEADE: JEWELL INDUSTRIES was the

other items necessary to provide carpet and tile installation.

The majority of the
floor services contract requirements involve meeting tight schedules and
coordination of work with the prime and several other subcontractors.
JEWELL has been successful in meeting the customers' requirements ahead of
